Birch Hill Charity Folk Festival
This is the 4th Birch Hill Charity Folk Festival in 5 years
(we didn’t manage one in 2014).
It’s a great way to enjoy a good helping of live music
without breaking the bank
and raise money for a good cause
at the same time.
Bracknell Folk Club used to run Bracknell Folk Festival, a thriving event somewhere back in the last century. As the club grows again, we aim to grow the festival to raise even more for charities and entertain more people with bigger names into the bargain.
None of it would be possible without tons of help, which has included:-
- A load of volunteers from Bracknell Folk Club, Anchor Folk Club and Staines Folk & Blues Club
- Provision of sound equipment and the skills to use it by Geoff Chapman
- The loan of staging by Yateley School
- The use of 9th Bracknell Scout Hall
- Provision of beer by Bingham’s Brewery
